Madi Kimball

Being a desert native, Madi was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. At the ripe age of 9, she received her first video camera where she would make little movies and capture her life. As she got older, she found a love and appreciation for film and the ability to see the beauty of the world through the lens of a camera. 

For college, she decided to move up north to a mountain town called Flagstaff. She attended Northern Arizona University to pursue a degree in Psychology and in Creative Media and Film. That’s two for two! In her studies, she worked on various short films as First Assistant Director, Production Coordinator and ended with Producing her Capstone film. This is where she found a love for production and knew that she wanted to be able to do more of it in the future. She loved being able to collaborate with a team and see every angle of filmmaking from start to finish.  

Madi is so excited to call herself a Seattleite as Seattle stole her heart from the very first time she visited. Madi loves being part of the team at Mighty Media studios (Madi at Mighty Media, now say that three times fast). When she’s not on the clock, she loves to be adventuring outdoors or seeing live music. She loves hiking mountains in the summer and snowboarding down them in the winter. She hopes to be able to see more beautiful sights of Washington State.
